Quanto mais próxima e provável a continuação do programa Bolsa Família por um novo presidente em 2011 mais relevante e atual considero as palavras do pastor americano Adrian Rogers (1931-2005) presentes numa série de sermões de 1984 (segundoWikipedia e no seu livro “Ten Secrets for a Successful Family: A Perfect 10 for Homes that Win“, página 138):

You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

As palavras do  pastor Adam Roger continuam no mesmo livro:

Something very sad has happened in America. the hippies and flower children of the sixties – who went around smoking dope, crying out about peace and free love, and urging kids to “turn on, tune in, and drop out”- took off their tattered jeans and their beads, trimmed their hair, put on suits, and went to Washington… We raised a generation that did not understand or value the work ethic.

O grifo é meu. Substitua America por Brasil, flores e hippies por socialismo e terrorismo (alguns podem argumentar que era guerrilha e não terrorismo), Washington por Brasília e você vai entender onde entra o Bolsa Família do título deste artigo.

É conveniente defender a idéia de que famílias precisam de dinheiro pra sustentar seus membros. É mais conveniente ainda distribuir dinheiro da maneira socialista, como o Bolsa Família faz, contrariando a base democrática e capitalista eleita pela população brasileira nos anos 80′s e consolidada nos anos 90′s, só para ter ganho político em manobra egoísta de governantes que desejam se manter no poder. Mas os grandes elefantes brancos no meio da sala não são abordados por ninguém: o analfabetismo, a burocracia e corrupção que impedem o brasileiro de trabalhar de forma eficiente, a falta de um líder da nação que inspire e faça seu povo avançar para um futuro tecnológico, econômico, social e político muito melhor do que o caos dos anos 60′s no Brasil.
